How do you determine the best job Fit? The self-discovery process outlined in Phase 1 - Career Discovery will also enable you to determine what factors may be required for you to find your best fit job. Career Options discovery also outlined in Phase 1 will be another key component of determining a best fit job.
Identifying your best Fit job is only part of this process. Once you determine your best fit you have to find it and obtain it. This will require you to move through the other Phases of the Career Actualization process. You will then be prepared to leverage your knowledge, Brand and job search materials during the job search and attainment process.
Interview Preparation
Includes phone consultation, consultation on interview themes and responses, review of written interview responses, mock interview - via SKYPE, Zoom, Google Meet or telephone
We understand the art of the interview. We can provide you with insights into how you can best communicate and articulate your ability to make a tangible contribution to the employer you are interviewing with.
As a stand alone service you may select an interview coaching appointment and a follow-up mock interview assessment. At the completion of the first appointment you will be provided with feedback and suggestions for interview skills enhancement. We will work with you to identify appropriate answer content and strategies. We will review your resume and your industry and help you prepare tailored and relevant responses.
Also available as part of the interview coaching process are Salary and Compensation Negotiation. We have worked with clients to prepare and review salary and compensation packages from entry level to senior executive jobs.

If you have developed an effective brand and networked and searched for jobs (clients or promotions) effectively you need to be prepared to Interview and Negotiate your options.
Step 1 - Interview Coaching
So many people spend so little time preparing effectively for an interview. Certainly self-awareness and brand development are keys to preparing for the interview, but putting them all together into the interview is often much easier said than done. Our interview consultation process includes self-awareness and branding as the foundation for interview preparation.
During interview coaching we will review questions and help you craft answers to questions that can be broadly applied. We will help you identify your interview themes and your INTERVIEW AGENDA.
We can help you deconstruct your skills and experiences and re-construct answers that will enable you to demonstrate your fit for an employer.
Step 2 - Mock Interview
Practice, Practice, Practice. After you have the opportunity to identify your interview options through interview coaching the next step is to participate in a mock interview. This can be conducted with our help or by tapping into your existing network of contacts, family, friends or online mock interview tools. Practice and rehearsal is an important part of the process.

Do you really know how to answer this question and how you can use this
answer to set your agenda for the interview.
2.Identify your top skills
Do you know how to set your skills apart from others. Most candidates select from among the same 10 skills to discuss, regardless of industry. Do you select the same skills as everyone else? Do your answers sound the same as everyone else?
3.Identify your weaknesses
Do you know that many interviewers want you to provide a quality assessment of your weaknesses and NOT provide them with a ‘Fake’ or misleading weakness? Your response to this question should reveal your insights into the challenges you will face when you begin the job and your strategies to address these challenges.
4.Tell me how you would . . .
Are you prepared to describe your ability to do the job effectively? Can you outline how you will succeed, how you have succeed in the past, what actions, thoughts and results you are prepared to offer? Do you really know how to offer an effective STARR or CAR response?

Step 3 - Negotiation Preparation
Negotiation as part of a job interview or part of promotion seeking is an important and often difficult task. Understanding your value, your options and your cost/reward proposition will be important to successful negotiations.
A successful negotiation involved give and take and requires you to do your homework. Do you know your value? Do you know the industry? Do you know how your options for negotiation. Being prepared for negotiation is a vital part of a successful negotiation.
