Consider your interests and needs and identify jobs titles, industries, geographic locations, specific employers, departments and individuals

Step 2 - Job Search and Networking

Many job seekers do not understand how to effectively conduct a job search. They are passive or ineffective job seekers. We can consult with you on effective job search strategies, lead you in the engagement and provide you with ongoing support and suggestions.

We can train you in the effective use of social media and/or we can prepare and deliver your social media engagement.

Your job search should 3 key components

  1. 1) Locating Open Jobs
        - Searching publicly posted and advertised jobs through job banks, organization websites, LinkedIn, Twitter, and other traditional sources such as professional magazines and websites and the local newspapers

  2. 2) Uncover Emerging Jobs

- Search using your personal network contacts (those you have and those you can obtain), recruiters and your personal connections on social networks for jobs not yet publicly posted but which may be posted soon or where insiders know of opportunities

  2. -Develop your own job leads by researching potential opportunities and proposing yourself as a solution before an employer has identified a clear need
